In order to understand local, regional and international events and read the underlying trends it is very important to have some knowledge of modern time history starting from A.D. 1500. Studying history is normally too serious and difficult for the majority of people. That is why I suggest here a proposal of establishing a Modern History Awareness Film Program. It is simply about broadcasting or displaying historical films. It might also include discussing the facts and fictions of these movies.
This program is a viable and profitable small business. It is also entertaining and useful. All what needed are: fast internet connection; time; commitment; very little capital; and a marketing strategy. A lot of historical films are now available on the Internet for free downloading. Some government departments; civil societies; and private enterprises could be encouraged to assist and participate in this program for mutual interests.
